Nimbrelean: Author’s Note
Three strokes, three meanings, and alternating orientations: an unfinished language for a fantasy people with extraordinary perception.

Nimbrels are a fantasy race of upright bipedal beings, covered in tan fur. They have long tails and their heads could be thought of as a mixture between a human and wolf. They possess incredible eyesight and strong connection to magic, allowing them to see the subcomponents of objects as well as see much farther than any other of the races.
Their language centered around 3’s, (not really sure why anymore). So each symbol has three strokes, has three meanings, and words alternate in orientation, 1st word vert, 2nd horiz., 3rd vert. etc.
Theres’s a pattern to how the meanings relate, generally something like a concept, it’s opposite, and a middle option.
The first image is the development of the symbols on the margins of some conference notes I started sketching while I was listening to some speaker. Subsequent images lay out some further development of the ideas. This one didn’t get very far.
